Plano, Texas (July 7, 2008) - Muratec America, Inc., manufacturer of multifunction office equipment and business productivity solutions, announces today that the MFX-2050 has received Editor’s Choice recognition from Better Buys for Business.
The MFX-2050 combines multiple business-critical functions, such as printing, copying, scanning and faxing, into a single, easy-to-use device to create a powerful workgroup MFP solution. Featuring a highspeed Ethernet connection and 33.6 Kbps fax modem the MFX-2050 enables a host of digital document delivery solutions including scan to PC (DirectScan), FTP and e-mail, as well as sending to remote Internet fax terminals and analog fax devices.
The MFX-2050 also supports ScanTag which empowers workgroup users to seamlessly capture metadata and document images from the MFX-2050 and transport them directly into document management systems, thus eliminating manual, PC-based indexing.
Better Buys for Business noted the MFX-2050’s user-friendly operation, functionality, paper handling and overall value as basis for the Editor’s Choice recognition.
“We are honored to receive Editor’s Choice recognition from Better Buys for Business,” says Jim D’Emidio, President, Muratec America Inc. “Muratec strives to deliver innovation, easy-to-use MFP solutions to the workgroup and this recognition validates our efforts.”
